About

Storyboard Artist | Art Director | Concept Artist | Writer

Stefan Mirvil is a multidisciplinary artist, but has an ultimate goal of having a long career in animation production. He's a first-gen American born Haitian who grew up in the Tri-state area (NY, NJ, PA). Recent works include, storyboard artist position for Ace Animation Studios, a finalist for Netflix Story Trainee Program. He excels in satire, sci-fi/fantasy, black culture and history. Ever since high school, Stefan has been a freelance story artist for private clients providing works in animation, design, motion graphics, creative directing, illustration, comics, video editing and merchandise production. His bravery allows him to be fearless and adaptable in many creative fields; almost by necessity.

Funfact: There are only two graduates from Binghamton High School that have worked in Film & Television, Rod Serling (creator and producer of "The Twilight Zone") and Stefan Mirvil.

On the side, Stefan also has a knack for writing. In college, competed at an international collegiate slam poetry tournament alongside fellow teammates and that became best selling authors. He also got his Bachelors' in Art, minor in Africana-Latines Studies from SUNY Oneonta. He is overly passionate about art, emotion and the work required to execute quality work. His inspirations include Kendrick Lamar, Hanif Abdurraqib, Rick Remender, Akira Hiramoto, and Sana Takeda, to name a few. He's the type you would not expect to be to be loud and command attention, but his work says otherwise.

When not doing anything art related, Stefan enjoys video games, gardening, reading, and sports.
